Milcho displayed the same Slavic assimilation with Negio blues as L. Vuckovich and Weather Report's Joe Zavinul, two other Slavic pianists, which prompts me to conclude that somewhere back in their history the Slavs and the Africans shared the same waterhole. Milcho is a most marvelous pianist, a real joy. He plays with beauty and passion, like an ardent suitor singing to his chosen lady. Leviev is an amazing musician. His cascading runs and massive tone clusters, all were Touched by an antic inspiration that resembles no other pianist in jazz. - LEONARD FEATHER (Los Angeles Times)
